I’m Brittany Dick, a freelance writer and editor who partners with health systems, health and wellness brands, and editorial clients to inform and inspire audiences, educate readers, and tell the most impactful stories of their brand.
The brandname, KeepHouse Studio, reflects both my professional approach and the values that shape my work — values that are homegrown and rooted in the idea of keeping house.
After stepping away from a full-time Writer/Editor role to raise my family, I began freelancing with a universally-shared question many parents face: How can I stay professionally engaged, disciplined, and effective while staying present and juggling responsibilities at home?

Over time, I found that the skills required to do both well — organization, empathy, resilience, and follow-through — overlapped. More importantly, the roles strengthened one another.
KeepHouse is a quiet nod to managing these moving pieces with care. Someone who keeps house is steady, reliable, and attentive — a person clients can trust to take initiative, collaborate thoughtfully, and manage communication from beginning to end.
In practice, that means meeting deadlines with intention, understanding the full scope of a project before a word is written, and showing up as a calm, capable partner throughout the process.
With KeepHouse Studio, clients can expect:
- A reliable collaborator who values efficiency, clear communication, and respectful use of time.
- A strategic thinker who can manage large-scale projects — from annual reports to website overhauls — while coordinating seamlessly with multiple stakeholders.
- A careful listener and storyteller with the sensitivity required to interview physicians, patients, and community members about deeply human experiences.
Welcome to KeepHouse Studio. I’m glad you’re here.
