About

I’m Brittany Dick, a freelance writer and editor who partners with health systems, health and wellness brands, and editorial clients to inspire audiences, educate readers, and tell the most impactful stories of their brand.

KeepHouse Studio reflects my path and purpose as a writer and mother. After stepping away from a full-time communications role to raise my family, I began freelancing with a question many parents face: How can I stay professionally engaged, disciplined, and effective while juggling responsibilities at home?

Like many, I started this journey believing these goals would conflict. Fortunately, time has proven otherwise—and it’s led me here.

These two worlds—the one in which I am a present, engaged mother and the other in which I am a trusted freelancer— can not only coexist, but strengthen one another. Someone who keeps house is steady, reliable, and attentive — a person clients can trust to take initiative, collaborate thoughtfully, and manage communication from beginning to end.

Motherhood has cultivated more strength, resilience, and grit than I knew possible. These same qualities have shaped me into a more empathetic writer, a more tenacious researcher, and a more capable partner than ever before.

In practice, this means meeting deadlines with intention, understanding the full scope of a project before a word is written, and showing up as a calm, capable partner throughout the process.

With KeepHouse Studio, clients can expect:

  • A reliable collaborator who values efficiency, clear communication, and respectful use of time.
  • A strategic thinker who can manage large-scale projects — from annual reports to website overhauls — while coordinating seamlessly with multiple stakeholders.
  • A careful listener and storyteller with the sensitivity required to interview physicians, patients, and community members about deeply human experiences.

Welcome to KeepHouse Studio. I’m glad you’re here.
